What do I need to try swipesign?
No credit card, no commitment: you can try swipesign Business for free, completely at your own pace. All it takes is three steps:

- Choose a strong password. We recommend a password manager such as Bitwarden or Apple Passwords.
- Verify your identity once, quickly and to banking standards.
Identity verification is mandatory for every swipesign user, without exception. It makes sure nobody can sign in your name and is a core part of our anti-phishing security guidelines.
Do my recipients need a swipesign account to sign?
No, recipients sign freely: no account and no cost for them, they just need an email address. Each signature simply counts toward your plan’s allowance.
Which signature type should I use: AES or QES?
- AES (Advanced): ideal for NDAs, HR documents, vacation requests and everyday agreements.
- QES (Qualified): equivalent to a handwritten signature, for contracts, credit deals, M&A and high-stakes commitments.

How does identity verification for QES work?
We partner with certified eIDAS providers like eID Easy, integrating 20+ national eIDs for QES via qualified trust service providers (QTSPs) such as D-Trust, A-Trust, Swisscom and Evrotrust. New signers who have never used a qualified signature before verify their identity once, to banking standards, via video ident or eID app, and can sign fully qualified from then on.
Is swipesign integrated with the European Digital Identity Wallet (EUDI Wallet)?
Yes, swipesign is ready for it. Under eIDAS 2.0, the national EUDI Wallets arrive from the end of 2026, and regulated businesses must accept them from the end of 2027. We are ready the moment the wallets are, because we work with great companies that already provide the infrastructure for it today: our identity partners eID Easy, with its EUDIW Playground, and WebID, with its EUDI Wallet Connector for all European wallets. So identifying and signing with the wallet in swipesign will be as natural as with an eID today.
Why does swipesign focus on AES and QES?
Because SES doesn’t meet our standards. Under eIDAS, even an email can count as SES: easily forged, with little evidential value. That’s why swipesign focuses on AES and QES: legally binding, traceable with a sealed audit trail and long-term validation, and every signer identity-verified.
Where is my data stored?
In ISO 27001 certified OVH data centres within the EU: in Germany, and also in France when you use the AI features. swipesign GmbH is headquartered in Vienna, and your data never leaves European jurisdiction.
